Chef Sumant Dadhwal, with 24 years of international experience, cannot be classified into any one category of cooking expertise. After completing his schooling at DPS, Mathura Road, Delhi, he ventured into hotel management at IHM Ahmedabad. From then on, it has been an exciting journey for him at hotels like Delhi Hyatt Regency, Middle East hotels in Dubai (U.A.E) and Muscat (Sultanate of Oman), Le Meridian, Metropolitan hotel and the InterContinental hotels. His culinary expertise ranges from cuisines such as French, Italian and Mediterranean to Arabic and European food.
After joining the Taj group of hotels, Chef Sumant worked in Ahmedabad and Jaipur, and came to Chandigarh to launch the kitchens of the newly inaugurated hotel. His constant endeavour is to create culinary experiences for our guests that go beyond the beaten path. This passion plays a pivotal role in designing some of the best menus of the hotel.
